Dental emergencies include severe toothache, a knocked-out or dislodged tooth, broken or cracked tooth, lost filling or crown, dental abscess with swelling, significant bleeding or facial trauma. As a general rule — if you're in significant pain or your oral health is suddenly compromised, call us. We'll assess over the phone whether you need same-day care.
Please call us first on (02) 9053 1995 so we can prepare and prioritise your care. Walking in without calling first may result in a wait as we need to schedule appropriate time for your treatment. A quick phone call lets us have everything ready when you arrive and ensures the smoothest, fastest experience possible.
Act fast — time is critical. Pick up the tooth by the crown (not the root), rinse it very gently with milk or saline if dirty, and attempt to re-insert it in the socket. If that's not possible, store it in milk or between your cheek and gum, and call us immediately. A knocked-out tooth has the best chance of being saved if re-implanted within 30–60 minutes of the incident.
Yes — we are open Saturdays from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm and hold priority slots for urgent cases. Call (02) 9053 1995 on the day and we'll do our best to fit you in. We are also open late on Wednesdays and Thursdays for after-work emergencies. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 000 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department.
