What Treatment Costs Here

Most dental websites will not tell you what anything costs. Here is ours, in full, so you can work out where you stand before you pick up the phone.

These are indicative prices, not quotes. What your treatment actually costs depends on your teeth: how much work is needed, how complex it turns out to be, and what we find at your examination. Two people having what sounds like the same treatment can pay different amounts, for good reasons.

You will always receive a written, itemised quote before any treatment begins, and we will talk you through it. If something changes once we are underway, we stop and tell you before going any further.

Figures current as at August 2026 and subject to change.

Paying for treatment. We claim health fund rebates on the spot through HICAPS, so you only pay the gap. Payment plans are available through Afterpay, humm and Denticare, which most patients use for the larger treatments.

If cost is the thing stopping you from getting something looked at, tell us. There is usually more than one way to approach a problem, and we would rather talk it through than have you put it off.

Questions About Cost

Why do prices vary between patients?

Because mouths vary. A filling on one small surface is a different job to one rebuilding half a tooth, and both get called a filling. The condition of the tooth, how many surfaces are involved, how far back it sits and what we find on the X-ray all change the work required. That is why the figures above are ranges and starting prices rather than fixed fees.

Will I know what it costs before treatment starts?

Yes. You receive a written, itemised quote after your examination and before any treatment begins. Nothing goes ahead until you have seen it and agreed to it. If something unexpected turns up while we are working, we stop and discuss it with you rather than pressing on.

Do you accept health funds?

Yes, all major health funds. We claim on the spot through HICAPS, so you pay only the gap on the day rather than paying in full and claiming it back yourself. How much your fund contributes depends on your level of extras cover and how much of your annual limit you have already used.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer Afterpay, humm and Denticare, which let you spread the cost over time rather than paying it all at once. Most patients use one of these for implants, orthodontics and larger restorative work. Ask us at your consultation and we will explain how each one works.

Is children's dental treatment free?

For many families, yes. Eligible children aged 2 to 17 can receive up to $1,158 in dental care over two calendar years under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, and we bulk bill it, so there is no gap on covered treatment. Call us with your Medicare card and we will check eligibility before you book.

What if I cannot afford the treatment I need?

Tell us. There is often more than one way to treat a problem, and the most expensive option is not always the only one that works. We would rather explain the alternatives, stage the treatment over time, or set up a payment plan than have you leave something untreated until it becomes an emergency.

Are these prices fixed?

No. They are indicative figures current as at August 2026, and they can change. They are here so you can get a realistic sense of what to budget, not as a price list to hold us to. Your written quote after examination is the figure that counts.
